S.A.F.E. DC PLAYS TENNIS WITH VENUS
S.A.F.E. kids, Kali (9 years) and J.T. (7 years) Mathura, were invited to join Venus Williams at her “kids’ clinic” at the Smith Center on Tuesday, July 14th. Venus leads a kids’ tennis clinic prior to one Kastles match each season. When she was a child, Venus was a participant in a World Team Tennis (“WTT”) clinic led by Billie Jean King. Read More

IN THE PARK
On July 25th we held a retirement ceremony for the #1 photographer in the DC area – Bernard Harris at Takoma Tennis Center. We really had a great time enjoying “pizza & watermelon” while the kids took pictures of Bernard. As you may know Bernard has been very instrumental in developing photos, calendars, action shots of our tennis players, group photos, etc. He plans to travel and play more tennis, his wife Donna Harris loves it!
